Overview
The Art of Teaching (30 hr), and Retreating
SKÅNE, SWEDEN
Teachers, space-holders and people-gatherers:
Are you relatively new and want to explore your offerings with greater depth?
Are you an experienced teacher finding yourself repeating the same thing over and over again?
How can we create a full bodied experience when teaching, far beyond āsana? How can we move and see beyond form?
This 30 hour advanced training exploration is for already qualified yoga teachers looking to ELEVATE their offerings, as well as spend some time retreating into the forest with your space-holder Sangha - community. Here, we experience the extraordinary sense of connection and trust the process of practice and dedication, together in the Swedish forest (2 hour drive) in humble huts, lakeside swimming, sauna and summer solstice ceremony.
We are here to train confident, magical, poetic and knowledgable teachers: empowered voices spreading the light of yoga around our communities. What you bring to the table is the most important tool, the greatest teacher is your individuality whilst developing your own authentic style and voice.
Experience
THE PRACTICE
10 HRS
Meditation, Āsana, Prānāyāma, Mudra, Mantra, Chanting
Starting each day with a sunrise two hour practice, we will enjoy challenging and joyful dynamic vinyāsa with meditation, pranayama and mantra. Evenings will end in a somatic practice such as embodied yin, a satsang (chai-fuelled evening gatherings) or a meditative saunagus.
THE TECHNICAL
8 HRS
Artful Sequencing, Theme Weaving, Art of Touch
We play and rebuild confidence to touch students, and move them in a way that feel safe and secure for their needs. Workshops will be held on creative sequencing, and finding more depth in the offerings you already have. This is what makes you unique as a facilitator.
THE SPACEHOLDER
12 HRS
Empowerment, Voice, Becoming the Wordsmith, Space Holding, Ceremony
This section is what makes us unique, dedicating time for you as an individual to grow into your own space as a leader and teacher. Discovering your confident voice, getting out of comfort zones and stepping into your power within the room. Workshops on powerful language and poetic universe, writing and how to inspire students. This is the art of setting the scene.

Facilitators
Faye Baldwin - lead teacher
Faye (@wildestyoga) is currently based in Copenhagen running Iluma Yoga Studio & eating many of the cinnamon buns the city has to offer. Half Singaporean, a large portion of her time each year is spent traveling around the world, exploring new places on small budgets and diving in to the local cultures.
Expect laughs & bliss in her light-hearted yoga classes, where she will help you to find the internal and external balance of sweetness and intensity. Here we expand together and illuminate as one. Her offerings weaves together her various trainings in Vinyasa, Ashtanga, Rocket, Mandala vinyasa, Ceremony holding and Embodied Yin.
Lena Charlie - chef
Lena is a Copenhagen-based plant-based chef and yoga teacher with a PhD in food within the world of flavour and sensory perception. Mildly obsessed with matcha and tahini, she loves to share moments over a plate of deliciousness, on the mat or swimming in the ocean.
Her cooking is intuitive, colourful and inspired by the seasons nourishing the intimate connection to the world around and within us. For her, food is about exploration, play, pleasure and presence. From sourcing and preparing to eating, she invites more presence and intention into how we nourish ourselves, and hopefully inspires and awakens your senses for the delicious world of plants.
You can expect wholesome family style meals with a variety of seasonal produce that are nourishing, grounding and juicy exploring the flavours of summer.
