What is your story with Yoga?
I was in Guatemala in 2018 where I felt a strong connection to the land and something in me knew it was going to return. Four years later i felt a pull to continue the journey of exploring life deeper. I was stuck in the same patterns and had a clear feeling of “something MORE must be out there”. I stumbled across a YTT at the exact same place in Guatemala I was back in 2018. I booked the training, went, and still remember my steps down the mountain after a month in rituals and community. Everything felt different and one thing that yoga had to teach me was, that the “something MORE” is for sure within me, and not out there somewhere.

What do you do for self-care?
Selfmassage, yoga nidra, journalling, sauna, ocean swims - some amongst my many rituals.

What’s your favourite snack?
‘Toms chokolade skildpadder’ or my homemade bliss balls I like to keep stacked in the freezer.

What is the best piece of advise you have ever received?
I had a close (45 years older) friend living next door, when growing up. One advice was something about, ‘if you listen closely, you always know what is worth spending energy on.’ I’ve always returned to this as a theme through my life, since I’ve been struggling with this a lot in the past. Now I understand the signals I’m getting from my system more, and I feel like my radar is set to be in places and with people where there is a good energy exchange.

What does the perfect Sunday look like to you?
It would start slow with a morning dip on Reffen. Then a sourdough bun. coffee and journal. I would then fill the car with my loved ones and drive to our childhood home, maybe go to some vintage shops on the way. Then my mom would have made us a big home cooked meal, and we end at the ice cream shop close by.
