COMMUNITY CLASS: YOGA FOR NEURODIVERGENT FOLKS
SAT 27 SEP
12:30 - 14:00
With Bella Neergaard
50 DKK
Stepping into a yoga space for the first time can feel overwhelming, especially if you're neurodivergent. This community class is here to change that.
In a calm, welcoming space, we’ll move through a gentle, beginner-friendly sequence with a focus on grounding poses, breath–body connection, and sensory-friendly guidance. You’ll also be guided through a visual meditation and simple breathwork techniques to soothe a busy or overstimulated mind.
This class is open to anyone who identifies under the umbrella of neurodivergence, including (but not limited to): Autism, ADHD/ADD, OCD, dyslexia, dyspraxia, sensory processing sensitivities, bipolar disorder learning disabilities and more.
A formal diagnosis is absolutely not required, if you feel this space could support you, you're warmly welcome.
To support accessibility, this class is offered at a lower rate of just 50 DKK, and is open to both members and non-members.
Your guide for this class is Bella, who is neurodivergent herself (ADHD and on the autism spectrum). She is committed to making this a soft landing space, if you have any questions or would like to reach out, you can connect with Bella on Instagram at @bellaneergaard or email us at info@ilumayoga.com.
ABOUT OUR COMMUNITY CLASSES
We created our Community Class series to offer a safer, more supportive space for people who are often excluded or underrepresented in yoga settings, including those who are neurodivergent, LGBTQ+, people of colour, or living with mental health challenges.
Yoga should be for everyone - but we know that walking into your first class can sometimes feel awkward, unsafe, or like you don’t belong. These classes are designed to change that.
Each Community Class is led by a teacher from the community being centred, with a focus on gentle, beginner-friendly movement, meditation, and breathwork, taught in an informed, inclusive, and down-to-earth way.
We’re here to help you feel seen, safe, and supported, so you can explore yoga on your own terms.
Let us give you space, so you can take up your own.
