Overview

Sound therapy is widely used throughout the world for its healing, calming and stress-lowering capabilities. Energetically, emotionally, spiritually, and physically there is no part that will not receive the sound. An amazing method to heal yourself and others, this course is designed to help you open your doors to the sound therapy world.

What to Expect

Module 1

Healing Art of Tibetan Singing Bowls:

During this module, we work in-depth with Tibetan Singing Bowls in individual sessions, sound massages and

gong baths.

Module 2

Gong Playing:

This module covers Gong playing techniques in Gong bath and concert, as well as in private 1-2-1 therapy sessions.

Module 3

Water, Air, Earth, Fire and Ether:

5 different elements in sound therapy. During this module, we will cover the theoretical and practical parts of element and sound expression by using different instruments such as rattles, bird whistles, bells, drums, rain stick, Shruti box and voice.

This 3 module sound therapy education is the door to the world of sacred sound. It is the door to understand that sound is within everything - and we can use it to heal ourselves. This course is designed to give you understanding and knowledge of this healing method - not simply the strokes and playing techniques, but to give you a deeper understanding of how sound works with our self-healing system and to expand and shift consciousness.

During approximately 80% of the course will be practical learning where you will learn how to play and combine instruments, different sounds and prepare sound baths and individual sound treatments. In the course, you will use various gongs, authentic singing bowls and other archaic instruments and experience sacred sound healing sessions with gongs and singing bowls.

This is a 30-hour course – 3 weekends including homework in between each module. After attending all 3 modules you will receive your Sound Therapy Practitioner Certificate. All Modules are divided into practices that suit individual treatments (12 hrs.) and group sessions (18hrs).

Aiste Venskune is a psychologist, sound therapist, art therapist, life coach and reiki master. Currently, she is on her way to becoming a certified hypnotherapist.

In 2007, Aiste first became interested in sound therapy when she started attending gong baths regularly to find balance during her graduate programme in Psychology at Vytautas Magnus University in Lithuania.

In 2013, her interest deepened when she had the opportunity to explore the effect of a variety of therapeutic instruments at a retreat centre close to Vilnius. Shortly after, Aiste began her training with one of the leading Lithuanian sound therapists Raimondas Binkauskas who taught her to apply singing bowls for healing purposes.

Since then, she has trained and played alongside with all heavyweights in the sound therapy community, among them Alicija Eiliakas, Aidan McIntyre and Don Conreaux.
